Jig From the award winning director of My Street and Mum & Me, Jig tells the compelling story of the 40th Irish dancing world championships in Glasgow. Jig portrays Riverdance-inspired Irish step-dancing as a global phenomena, practiced on a competitive level by adults in Moscow, a teen of Sri Lankan extraction in the Netherlands, and children of Irish extraction/ancestry the world over. The winners of the world competition are Irish-American dancers from New York City. This movie/documentary has its own facebook page.
